Oregon

The kids and I spent a large part of our summer in Oregon. We had a lot of visiting to do and since the weather is so amazing in Oregon in the summer we stayed for almost 5 weeks! Cavan joined us our last 10 days there. It was so nice to go home for a visit. We had endless things we wanted to do and people we wanted to visit. We missed Cavan greatly though and it was a long time to be away from our new home here in Florida. 

Bikes

Before we left to visit Oregon this last summer, KaeLynn finally got the confidence to try her bike that had no training wheels. She was starting to get it, but we left to Oregon for a month just shortly after. When we came back she lost all confidence. Daniel really wanted a bike for his birthday, and since the bike KaeLynn had was too small, we bought her a bike for her birthday and went ahead and got one with training wheels. She is very happy and loves riding all around. Daniel is still building up his confidence and skills. He has had a few crashes with one bad road rash on the side of his face, but he is not giving up! 

At Gemini Springs they have really good trails for bike riding. We had a lot of fun going as a family. Daniel really struggled that he can't go as fast as KaeLynn, but soon I know he will be riding right a long with her!

Kindergarten Accomplished!

KaeLynn did it! I am so proud of her for making this huge adjusted in her life. It was very hard for her at first, but she never gave up and she made it through. She absolutely loved her teacher, and she made a lot of friends. She grew so much in this school year in her personality and social skills. I am one happy momma!

Beach

I Really Really Really LOVE going to the beach. I finally tried boogie boarding, since being here in Florida and I love it!!! It is so fun! KaeLynn loves it too. The other day a dead sea turtle washed up on shore. It was the biggest wild turtle I have ever seen, even though I know they can get huge. 

Disney World

We have enjoying living by Disney World very much! 

Friends

Our friends came from Oregon to go to Disney World and we got to visit with them. It was so nice to see familiar faces here in Florida. Devanie and Tyson also went on a cruise and I watched their girls while they were away. Our kids were in heaven having their friends stay for a whole week! We swam a lot while they were here, and we went to see this huge airplane by the airport. The kids thought that it was huge! 

One day we went to the beach and had a fantastic time. A storm was coming in right as we were tired and hungry. We went to a restaurant right off the water and ate outside. Right as we sat down it start pouring! Since the kids already had their suits on they played on the little play set next to us. They had their own personal water slide! It was very cute!
