This year we took the kids with us to North Carolina to see the fall colors. It was SO BEAUTIFUL! We stayed at a KOA right on a lake. Our family of 6 stayed in this tiny cabin. We only had room to sleep in there. We arrived at night so the kids could not really see where we were at first. The first morning we woke up it was a little below freezing, and there was fog on the water of the lake. When Linen came out in his cute footy pajamas, he said with a shocked expression, "Wow! It's Amazing!" It was so adorable. We did a lot of hiking, The weather was perfect for fall. Sunny and cold, my new favorite weather! We saw lots of beautiful fall colors and waterfalls. We even watched the sun set over the blue ridge mountains. The kids had so much fun. I have never seen them love walking so much. They usually complain, but they just wanted to find more and more hikes. We went to the American Classic Motorcycle Museum. We saw lots of classic motorcycles. One of the workers even took us on a ride on a motorcycle sidecar. This is one of our new favorite traditions.

Halloween
This Halloween KaeLynn was a Greek Goddess, Daniel was the Black Panther, Linen was a police officer, and Jax was such a cute baby! The kids had a festival at school we want to for a trunk or treat. They also had a pumpkin decorating contest. They had to pick a favorite character from school and decorate the pumpkin like that character. No carving was allowed. KaeLynn did Hermione from Harry Potter and Daniel did Dogman. We miss understood the flyer when to turn the pumpkins in, so they never got judged. I felt so awful for them! They did such a good job on their pumpkins. So I took them to BerryVille for frozen yogurts.
