Daniel turned 10 years old!! Cavan took Daniel and his friends to David and Busters Arcade and we did a celebration for him at home. Daniel loves to spend time with his family and loves to play a game with us when his two little brothers go to bed. He played soccer again this year but this time, because of his cut off date for his birthday he didn’t get to play with his friends. They turned 10 before him so they moved up a division, and he had to stay behind with the younger division. So he really didn’t enjoy this season. He’s not sure if he wants to continue with soccer, next year. He did start playing the saxophone though! That is the instrument he really wanted to try. He quickly learned how hard it is to learn to play an instrument, but he is not giving up and is going strong. His favorite thing to do is snuggle his dog, and watching other people play video games on you tube. (Cavan and I think it is so weird) Daniel loves to be a goofball and dance around the house acting silly.
Kaelynn had a really rough start to her birthday. She caught Covid. Luckily her case was really mild. But we had such fun plans with my mom to go to this Spellbound Cafe and then go to this Hollistic House where they sell really cool stones and other fun stuff. But the night before, I got really sick. I was sick for weeks and we kept having to put off our fun day. My mom did take Kaelynn out for lunch and they still went to Holllistic House and she had fun. When my sister Kea came to visit over Christmas break, we all went to the Hollistic House, and it was worth the wait for me. I also to Kaelynn to Claire’s to get her ears pierced again. Kaelynn is doing very well in Band, and we signed her up for more trumpet lessons. Kaelynn has also recently started part time school. She takes her electives at the public school and then she comes home and takes her four core classes online. We just started this in January so we will see how it goes. Music is Kaelynn’s favorite thing right now. She is so helpful with her brothers, and loves to sing, sing, sing! She is always singing!!
