It is that time of year again! We decided to do a garden, even though we still bought a share of our local vegetable farm. On our GAPS diet, I am going through veggies like crazy , so the more the better. We also wanted our children to be involved in working outside with us, and showing them that we benefit from hard work. Hopefully with all the yummy produce we will get, the children will learn how important it is to have a garden. Cavan built this awesome garden box to keep out those darn cats! We have a major cat problem in our neighborhood, and they go poop where ever they please. The last thing we want is for them to use our nice garden area as a litter box!. We also planted strawberries in gutters, and hung them on the fence. This way we don't have to worry about slugs. So far we just have the strawberries planted, but more is soon to come! The kids LOVED digging in the dirt. We have such great helpers.

Easter 2013
Oh how beautiful Easter Sunday was!! We went to Nana and Papa's ward for church. All the girls had matching dresses along with the boys wearing father son matching ties. We had a delicious dinner after church. This was our first big event being sugar free and I think it went very well! I made chocolate with honey to sweeten it and the kids ate it no problem! Nana had lots of sugar free treats for the kids and we ate lots of fresh fruit! I wanted to really put our focus on the Savior this Easter Sunday. Each child was assigned a color they were to collect for Easter eggs. The eggs would spell out the word Savior. Once they spelled the word they got a book on Easter and a music CD. The children were so excited!
