Beach Trip

This year we went to Cannon Beach for our annual family beach trip. After playing for 3 days at the lake in really warm weather, the beach felt so cold!! The kids played anyways and had most of their fun playing in the sand. I even let me kids have a special treat of  ice cream! :) They were oh so happy!

Shooting and more playing

 This family in our ward has a lot of property with their own private lake. We went out there to go shooting, but the kids and the moms spent all our time playing in the water! They had this huge water trampoline, boats, a bike ramp, and a zip line!! This is the most fun I have had in a long time! The zip line was so fun!!! Cavan went off the bike ramp and crashed really hard in the water! It was hilarious on our side, but Cavan will tell you different :)

Lake

With all of Cavan's siblings in town we headed to the lake for a few days! The kids had so much fun playing with each other. The weather was great and all the kids behaved very well. :) KaeLynn was such a fish in the water. All we had to do was put a life jacket on and she was off. She was brave this time and actually swam around to where her feet did not touch the bottom. I had fun this time too. I actually braved the cold water and really played with the kids in the water. It was great!

Summer Fun

We have the Hunter family (Cavan's sister) in town from Kentucky! We have been playing non stop so far. They will be here for two week so we will have many more pictures and more fun to post soon!

 KaeLynn was so brave on the inner tube! I was shocked that she even wanted to go! As she flew by, she waved with a huge smile on her face and then gave me a thumbs up! She loved it! I also took her and Daniel out on the wave runner, and this year Daniel loved it!

Happy Independance Day 2013

Another year in Corbett for the 4th! The weather was perfect. Not to hot, not to cold! We spent the afternoon with family and friends and enjoyed an awesome firework show at night! KaeLynn has so much fun running around with her cousins. I am impressed with her bravery as she went down big slides in the blow up toys they had. She is getting braver and braver every year! Daniel did great walking around pushing the wagon. He just wanted to be on the go! The kids had fruit for the first time in a month since starting the GAPS diet. KaeLynn did fine, but Daniel's behavior took a turn for the worst introducing the sugar back in. :( Bummer. We will have wait a little longer for that.

The simple life

This was a nice warm summer day. Just hanging out in the backyard eating peas. I love afternoons like these! Daniel is not naked :) he does have a diaper on.
