Jax turns two!

My last little baby turned two! This kid loves to talk and talks very well for his age. Although he does call water “wah-wee”. We think it’s adorable. He calls Maeling, “mow mow”, and always tries to pet her. She usually runs away, but once I saw her lay there for him to pet her. He also loves Oakley! He is always patting his leg and saying “ come on Oakley”, in fact he does that to all of us, “come on daddy!” As he pats his leg. So funny!  He is a great eater, except he doesn’t like potatoes in any way, even french fries. He used to want me to sing to him before bed, but then all of the sudden he started a new routine that we can’t figure out where he came up with it. Before bed he likes to do eyes, which is putting your foreheads together and locking eyes. Then nose, touching noses together. Then a kiss, and lastly a hug while saying “love you”. He wants to do this with each member of the family. He is such a sweet and efficient boy! He loves dinosaurs, and being outside on the tractor or lawn mower with daddy.

First day of school and Cavan’s Birthday

First day of school was on Cavan’s Birthday! Linden is doing VPK at Mcinnis which is Daniel school. So it’s just me and Jax at home. When school first opened, wearing masks was optional, but now it’s mandatory again. After school we took the kids out for frozen yogurt to celebrate dad’s bday and first day of school.

4th of July

This year for the 4th of July Kaelynn and Daniel were in Utah. We took the Linden and Jax to the Lake Helen parade and decided to come back home for fireworks in our own back yard with some friends. Linden loved the sparklers!

Trip to the Pacific North West

We we’re so blessed to go back home to visit our family. We did so many things! We visited my family at the coast, camped at the lake for a couple of days, went up to ski bowl on Mount Hood, jumped off Naked Falls, and played at the beach. Of course we Floridians are spoiled here and we’re freezing on the Oregon beach!
