The Kids Birthday Party

The weekend of the kids Birthday looked like it was the last nice weekend of the summer. It was such a great way to end it. We had food, the sun, slip n slide, bounce house, and friends and family. What else do you need? It was great! We got the kids power wheels for their birthday, and it was the hit of the party! The kids loved it so much, and have been riding it everyday since! 

KaeLynn is 5 Years Old!

My little girl is getting so big! KaeLynn is growing faster and smarter than I can keep up with. She is such a sweet sensitive girl and she keeps our family so well balanced! Her memory is amazing, and she is such a fast learner. She picks up things so quick and has such an imagination. She is always making up dances, songs, and music on the piano. She also is becoming so fearless! This girl is also a little social butterfly. She is the happiest when we are with family or friends to play with. She is learning everyday how to deal with having a crazy little brother. He definitely tests her! :) As much as she loves to socialize, her favorite thing to do is still sit back and watch a movie. She is still attached to her blanky as much as ever. We love her so much!

Daniel is Two Years Old!

Our little Daniel is a baby no more! He is such a little man and we love the new stages we are entering with him. He has made so much progress with his behavior. We can go into the nursery at church now, when before I couldn't even step in the room with him even in my arms. He is a lot more comfortable when we go to places and he is a very sociable boy! He loves to say to hi to people. He loves it when we go to our local farms. He especially loves to see the animals. He is such a crazy rough boy! He loves to wrestle and play "ready", which is a game where he basically just jumps on you. He loves his sister, and always wants her near him when we go places. He plays by himself now very well as long as he has some cars or trains to play with. He is such a great eater! He loves food, and is one solid boy! He weighs 30 lbs, and I have Cavan carry him when ever I can because he just kills my arms!!! We love this boy so much and look forward to the years to come!

Labor Day Weekend

Last weekend we had the best camping experience this season! Our Daniel was the happiest he has EVER been. He truly enjoyed being in the outdoors and playing in dirt, rocks, and water. He didn't get naps during the day, but he still was such a trooper! KaeLynn had tons of kids to play with. Not only did she have her cousins, but we also invited two close families up with us. KaeLynn was such a little fish in water. Put a life jacket on her and she is off! She has truly come to love the water and is becoming more fearless everyday! This weekend one of the families we invited brought up their new boat. They have a wake board tower and a women's size wake board. I actually was able to stay up this time and weave in and out of the wake! It was so fun!! In the past I have just tried using Cavan's board with no luck.  It was a great weekend to end the summer!

Cavan's Birthday

My dear Husband is getting older indeed! He turned 31 this summer. KaeLynn and I made him this shirt that has car tracks on the back of it. When he lays on his stomach, the kids can drive the cars on his back. KaeLynn had so much fun making this, and keeping it a secret from daddy! We had a bunch of our friends over for a BBQ and let the kids run and play in the sun!. Roy'l made Cavan a very yummy Reese's peanut butter cake that everyone loved!
