The Carmedic annual meeting was in Austin Texas this year. It is so amazing that Kea and Andrew are now in the same company. It makes the annual meetings so much more fun! Our hotel was right in the heart of the city so we used electric scooters to go around the town and they were so much fun!!! I have a hard time walking long distances or standing for a long time, so these were so perfect for me to get around so easily and fast. I was shocked with the amount of homeless people there were in Austin. That part made the city kinda dirty. Austin reminded me a lot of Portland actually. The people of Austin also know how to party. On the weekends they close down 6th street to cars and give the whole street to people wanting to have a good time. I've never seen anything like it! On our last day we went to the capital. It was so pretty inside! I loved the history.

Our Georgia Christmas Vacation
One of the kids Christmas presents was a surprise trip to North Georgia to a cabin up in the mountains. Our friends know the family that owns this cabin, so we got an incredibly cheap deal, and since we split it with our friends it was in even cheaper! We just couldn't pass it up. We had the bottom floor to our selves. We were right next the the river. They river only went up to about your shins, so we had fun going into the hot tub then running and dunking ourselves in the freezing water! It actually was a lot of fun! I think I enjoyed it the most out of everyone. The kids had fun playing with their friends so I had a lot of time just finding a cozy spot and reading a good book. My favorite! We drove in to Helen Georgia to their Bavarian town. It was just like the town the Cavan and I went for our honey moon in Leavenworth WA. We also went hiking. I LOVE going in the woods. It reminded me of Oregon so much. It was beautiful. The kids did awesome and wanted to just keep exploring. The last place we visited was the Bigfoot museum and research center. My kids already believed in Big foot
Activities we did this Christmas season
We kept very busy this Christmas. For the first time we actually got gingerbread house kits to make ourselves. Daniel got a gingerbread train and it would not stay together, which was very frustrating for Daniel. He said next year he will not get a train! KaeLynn really enjoyed decorating hers, but she didn't really eat it.
Santa Claus came to visit us at our church Christmas Party, but KaeLynn was off playing with her friends so I didn't get her picture.
We did our annual Holly Jolly Trolly to see all of St. Augustine Christmas lights. Our train was so fun with everyone singing Christmas songs really loud. The kids loved it!
We went to Deland Christmas parade which is always a fun tradition. It was very fun to see Linden's reaction of all the lights, music, and vehicles. He got bored a little and Cavan and I took turns walking around with him.
We had a wonderful Christmas day! This is my most favorite holiday! I love this time I get to spend with my family. Especially when they are so young, and Christmas is so magical to them.
