Jax is 7 months old and his lower front tooth is coming in!. I have not noticed any grumpy behavior so I was so surprised to feel it coming through. He is such a happy boy. He loves to smile just like this at people. He will squint his eyes and lift his chin up when he smiles real big. He gets super distracted when nursing and would rather look at whats going on around him. He is sleeping good, and is now sticking to a 3 hour schedule. Today was funny because Linden kept blaming Jax for eating his cheese. He would come in asking for more cheese and I would tell him, this is your last one, but he would come back in and say Jax ate it. Nice try Linden! I see you eating the cheese!
COVID 19 update: We started virtual school yesterday. It has been very stressful trying to learn how to do this with what how each teacher wants to communicate with KaeLynn and Daniel, the difference of how to complete the work on the lap top vs. the iPad, how to keep track of how much time they spend on each subject (I thought the computer kept track for us. we learned the hard way it didn't), how to help them work through a problem when Linden and Jax are also needing me. At the end of the day I feel like my brain is going to explode. I found out that math comes really easy to Daniel. I was trying to help KaeLynn with a math word problem. Daniel was reading it over our shoulder and kept saying "I know how to solve this", and he wouldn't stop. I was getting so frustrated because in my head I am thinking that no way he can do 5th grade math. I couldn't focus on what the problem was asking and Linden kept screaming for something. Finally Daniel shouts "the answer is 35!" I thought yeah right. Turns out he was right. Then Daniel explained to me how he did it all in his head in like 5 seconds. I couldn't believe it! Later he had completed 7 minutes in his math and he had to do a total of 30 mins. I asked Daniel how much time he had left to do and he instantly knew with out counting that he had 23 minutes of math to complete. He is a smart boy! Tomorrow the school is adding on more curriculum, and they have pushed that distant learning until May 1st. This is the 3rd time the date has changed, so we will see if school really will be back in session on May 1st.

Spring Break and COVID 19 virus
Our spring break has turned into the spring break that never ends. The world has canceled everything. No church, no school, no eating out, and no extracurricular activities. Toilet paper and cleaning supplies are non existent anymore. All baking isles have been emptied of flour and sugar, and grocery stores are emptying faster and faster. If stores are staying open, then they close early in the evening. The first day of our spring break we did manage to get to the beach, but since then some of the beaches are closed, and all state parks are closed. You can go to the Volusia County beach, but no beach ramp access and if they feel its to crowded they will close it down. School starts on Monday for virtual learning. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, and how this will affect the car business. Cavan is already being told that they will not be getting in any new cars which means no new dents to work on. On the plus side, we will have a lot of extra time to work on our homestead. We recently got 10 new laying hens and a rooster. We have meat chicks ordered. And in 2 weeks we are getting our farm dog that will help keep the predators away from our chickens. We are working on clearing out some the pasture and fixing the fence to get a couple beef cows. I have my garden up and going, and just planted a bunch of bush beans to store green beans in our freezer. I also finally made a successful batch of sourdough bread!! I made sourdough pancakes this morning, which was so good! Next thing I want to learn is how to can tomatoes and fruit.
Linden turns 3!
Our little Linden turned 3! Which also means we have been in our home for 3 years now. He is such a fun out going boy! He is fearless just like his daddy, which has given me a heart attack a few times. He loves people, and going out to places. He is really into trains right now, so for his birthday we got more wooden train tracks to add to the collection. Daniel and him have been making some great tracks. He is my only kid so far who loves to be outside. He likes to work with daddy on the tractor and mowing the lawn. He really loves the water! Anytime we are driving and he sees a body of water, which happens a lot in Florida, he gets so excited! He is still a pretty picky eater. Sometimes we have to starve him out, which means no snacks or any food if its not what I made. He eventually gets hungry enough and eats. We are trying to work with him to take a bite of what he wants for a bite of what we are eating. It starting to work a little. He is still a great sleeper. Sometimes he goes a week or so where he doesn't nap, but I still put him in his crib regardless to give him and me some quite time. When Jax was first born, Linden had a really tough time, but he is stating to be nicer to Jax now. The other day in the car Linden was laughing at Jax which made Jax start laughing, making Linden laugh harder. They kept this going for a while. It was so sweet listening to them! Linden loves to be read too. He will snuggle up with his huge quilt blanket, suck on his two middle fingers, and listen to a good story. He also loves to dance, and listen to music. If Linden has something I don't want him to have, he will put his hand up to stop me and say" go in the shower!" KaeLynn has trained Lidne to sing like Elsa from Frozen. She will say "hey Linden, Elsa!" and he will sing out "AH ah oh oh" in a high pitched voice. Linden brings a lot of joy to our lives.

Bike week
For bike week this year we only went out for the day on Friday and Saturday, since I'm still breastfeeding Jax. In the past we would ride up to St Augustine and spend the night. I packed around my pump and we still made it work. We went to Ravine Gardens in Palatka and walked around their beautiful gardens. We also laid around the beach and caught some sun. It wasn't as busy because of this COVID 19 virus. I LOVE going on the motorcycle with Cavan. It is so fun, and the weather is so perfect here to ride.
Leap year time capsule
For Leap day we decided to do a family time capsule. We took this selfie of us, wrote letters to our selves, and put something special to us in it and put it in a ammo box. The kids started to dig, but soon got tired so Cavan came to the rescue to finish it up. We will open it in 4 years next Leap Day. It will be so cool to see how much we have changed in 4 years.
Fun Times
I love my family and I love doing fun things with them. Cavan and I went on a date skating the other night with our friends, and just for fun we decided to dress up in 70's clothes.
For family home evening we decided to play a game of tic tac toe, but tossing socks instead. It was a lot harder then it looks.
Linden found my razor and decided to give him self a bald spot.
I love we live close to the water. These are some of my favorite things to do with my family, is play by the water.
KaeLynn is in Young Women's!
I can't believe KaeLynn is old enough to be in the youth program at church. Just as I get released from being the Young Women President, she moves up to Young Women's. To welcome KaeLynn, the young women came and heart attacked our door. She just had her first temple trip, which was so special! Cavan and I got to go with her and do some family names. We recently got to go again with Andrew. That was also very special!
Tampa
For the annual Carmedic meeting we went to Tampa. We didn't originally plan to take the kids with us, but we had to last minute. The only fun thing we did was go to the family fun center. That's because on this trip everybody got sick! It was awful. We all felt awful, we all slept awful, it was awful, awful, awful!!! My sister Kea came with her family and Danny tested positive for the flu, so I'm pretty sure we all got it.
